Site/business Assessment

Using an efficient process developed from my 20+ years of experience taking on new departments, divisions, and companies I will provide you with an executive summary and assessment matrix which will clearly illustrate where you should focus your resources and efforts.

HOW IT WORKS

I start with just a few hours of planning and preparation with you and your team, then come to your site where I spend a couple of days applying my assessment process, followed by a few days of analysis and summary compilation. You then receive the final package (executive summary + assessment matrix) and a personal presentation and discussion with me.

PRICING & TIMEFRAME

Pricing for this service is a fixed amount plus travel expenses. Turnaround time from beginning to end ranges from 2-4 weeks depending on scheduling and availability of everyone’s time involved.

Personalized Coaching

Sometimes we simply need someone that is close to our problems and goals to keep us moving in a direction that is best suited for us.

HOW IT WORKS

The first step is to identify your immediate goals and develop a timeframe to complete those goals. The next step is to discuss any obstacles that are impeding your path forward. Lastly, we work together to put a plan of action together for you to achieve your goals.

I offer both 1-on-1 and group-style coaching.

PRICING & TIMEFRAME

All of my coaching services are priced as memberships; you pay a flat rate per month for regular meet-ups, and each membership comes with a set of services and benefits. Currently, I offer one group membership option and three 1-on-1 membership options.

BEST FOR: All Managers

I work with individuals at all levels of management from the entry-level manager all the way up to the CEO.

my story

I grew up around farming. My dad was a certified pest control advisor who worked in the southern San Joaquin Valley of California. I worked in fields of row crops as a boy and even helped my parent’s neighbors “hand harvest” almonds with a long wooden pole when I was 13 years old.

I understand the struggles and rewards of being in the food and ag space. I love the challenges that Mother Nature brings. And I live to maintain the heritage and roots that many food and ag companies built their companies on while challenging the “old ways” in order to be better. I love solving problems and I connect with people.

I have a strong “get it done” drive and attitude coupled with empathy and respect for others that sets me apart. I lean heavily on process and information while balancing the intuitive and gut feelings to help drive decisions.

I’d appreciate an opportunity to get to know you and help you take your business to the next level!

MORE ABOUT ME

I currently live in Paso Robles, California. I have two amazing children, Charlotte and Cody. And I’m excited to marry the woman of my dreams in the fall of 2021. Together, we love to hike and surf and just be outside and explore.

I am a commercial pilot with over 1,000 flight hours and proudly serve as a board member for Almond Acres Charter Academy, which is the school my two children attend.

my experience

In 2019, I started my consulting firm for one reason: to bring my years of experience in the corporate food and ag space to the countless other food and ag businesses looking to achieve their own level of “world-class”.

EDUCATION

In 2002, I earned an electrical engineering degree from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly).

EMPLOYMENT

After graduation I worked for Ginosko (now Stantec Engineering) where I designed and installed industrial automation systems for food and ag companies in California.

I then went to work for Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds (formerly Paramount Farms) for 14 years. While at Wonderful I was privileged to lead various teams and departments, including engineering, maintenance, operations, accounting, finance, IT, and human resources. I achieved executive level seniority while at Wonderful.

After Wonderful, I relocated to the Midwest to take on the role of President/CEO for CherrCo Inc., the largest tart cherry cooperative in North America at the time. I then moved back to California to start my own consulting firm.
